*Responsibilities*

* Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate learning and creativity for children of various ages.
* Foster a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social interaction.
* Collaborate with families to support each child's unique needs, interests, and developmental goals.
* Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress, behavior, and daily activities in compliance with licensing standards.
* Support children with diverse needs by adapting activities and providing specialized care when necessary.
* Lead classroom routines such as circle time, outdoor play, meal times, and rest periods with enthusiasm and professionalism.
* Ensure health and safety protocols are consistently followed to create a secure environment for all children.

*Skills*

* Fluent in English; proficiency in French is considered an asset for bilingual communication.
* Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
* Experience working with children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
* Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while balancing multiple responsibilities.
* Leadership qualities to guide classroom activities and support team collaboration.
* Proficient in computer operation for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes.
* Well-organized with exceptional writing skills for maintaining detailed records and reports.
