Our mission: a job bank in Canada that leaves nobody out
Canada’s labour market is one of the most diverse in the world, yet most job boards are built around a single kind of candidate. Canada Careers was created to be different. We are a Canadian job bank designed from the start for the people who are too often overlooked in hiring — newcomers whose credentials are still being recognised, Indigenous job seekers far from any head office, refugees rebuilding a career, young people looking for a first role — alongside professionals who simply want a clear, honest place to find their next job in Canada.
We keep the model simple on purpose. Employers and third-party consultants pay one flat, published price to post a job. Job seekers never pay anything. Every listing is searchable by category, province, city, job type and work arrangement, and every job seeker can tell us who they are so that the right opportunities find them. No hidden fees, no bidding for visibility, no pay-to-apply.

A $9.99 job posting is exactly that: $9.99 CAD per posting per month, plus 5% GST ($0.50), for a total of $10.49 CAD. The price is the same for every business in every province, and every payment produces a numbered receipt for your books.
Monthly renewal you control
Each posting renews automatically every month so a live job never quietly disappears mid-search. Cancel at any time from your dashboard — at the end of the current paid month (the job stays live until then) or immediately. No contracts, no cancellation fees.
What happens to expired, cancelled and inactive postings
When a posting expires because payment lapses, when you cancel it, or when you pause it, Canada Careers archives the job. Archived jobs are removed from search results, job alerts, the sitemap and their public page, so candidates never apply to a role that is no longer open. The posting and every application it received stay in your dashboard, and you can duplicate an archived job to post it again in a couple of clicks.
For third-party consultants and recruiters
Staffing agencies, recruitment firms, immigration consultants helping newcomers find work, and HR consultants hiring on behalf of clients use Canada Careers as a third-party recruiter job posting platform. A Third Party Consultant account holds many employer profiles — one for each client — so you can post, renew and manage jobs for all of your clients from a single sign-in, with applicants organised by client company.
Consultants pay the same flat rate as employers: $9.99 plus GST per posting per month, billed per posting and cancellable at any time. Your billing page shows every subscription and payment across all of your profiles in one place.
For job seekers: free, always
Searching for jobs in Canada should not cost anything, and on Canada Careers it never will. Sign up free, build a profile in a few minutes and upload your resume as a PDF or Word document. From then on you can apply to any job online with one click, save jobs to come back to, and track every application from your dashboard.

- Search or wait for alerts. Filter jobs by province, city, category and work arrangement, or let matched alerts come to you.
- Apply online. One click sends your resume to the employer. Track the status of every application from your dashboard.

How much does it cost to post a job on Canada Careers?
Each job posting costs $9.99 CAD per month plus 5% GST ($0.50), for a total of $10.49 CAD per posting per month. There are no setup fees, no per-applicant fees and no contracts.
Does the price include GST?
The advertised price of $9.99 is before tax. GST at 5% is added at checkout, so you pay $10.49 CAD per posting per month, and every payment comes with a numbered receipt for your records.
How does monthly renewal work, and can I cancel?
A posting renews automatically every month until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard: choose to keep the job live until the end of the current paid period, or take it down immediately. There is no cancellation fee.
What happens to a job posting when it expires, is cancelled or is paused?
Expired, cancelled and inactive (paused) postings are archived: they disappear from search results, job alerts, the sitemap and their public page, but the posting and its applicants stay in your dashboard so you can review applications or duplicate the job and post it again.
Can a third-party consultant or recruiter post jobs for multiple employers?
Yes. A third-party consultant account can hold many employer profiles — one for each client company — and post, manage and renew jobs for all of them from a single sign-in. Each posting is billed at the same $9.99 plus GST per month.
Is Canada Careers free for job seekers?
Yes. Creating a job seeker profile, uploading a resume, applying to jobs, saving jobs and receiving job alerts are all free. Job seekers are never charged.
What resume formats can I upload?
You can upload a resume as a PDF, Word document (.doc) or Word Open XML document (.docx) up to 5 MB. Your resume is stored securely and shared only with the employer or consultant behind a job you choose to apply to.
How are job alerts matched to my profile?
Job alerts use the preferences in your profile — categories, province and city, job type, work arrangement, experience level and the audiences you identify with. When a newly published job matches, we email you on the schedule you choose and show the match on your dashboard.
Which parts of Canada does Canada Careers cover?
