Grill Cook

We are looking for a skilled and reliable *Grill Cook* to join our kitchen team at *Eivan Restaurant & Bar* in North Vancouver.
The ideal candidate has experience working on a grill station, understands timing and temperature control, and can prepare consistent, high-quality dishes during busy service.
This role is essential in delivering the flavour, quality, and presentation standards that define Eivan?s menu.

*Responsibilities*

* Prepare and cook grilled items according to Eivan?s recipes and standards
* Maintain proper timing, temperature control, and consistency for all dishes
* Keep the grill station clean, stocked, and well-organized throughout service
* Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
* Assist with basic prep tasks when needed (marinating, chopping, portioning)
* Monitor inventory at the grill station and communicate restocking needs
* Coordinate with line cooks, expo, and prep staff for smooth service flow
* Uphold high standards of presentation, taste, and plating
* Support special events or catering when required
* Maintain a positive, professional attitude during busy shifts

*Requirements*

* Previous experience as a Grill Cook or Line Cook (restaurant experience required)
* Strong knife skills and familiarity with grilling, searing, and temperature control
* Knowledge of food safety, cross-contamination prevention, and safe food handling
* Ability to stay organized and work efficiently under pressure
* Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
* Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail
* Flexibility for evening and weekend shifts
* Multilingual candidates are welcome (Farsi is an asset but not required)
