About the role
Reading Blueprints:
* Comprehend and utilize technical diagrams, schematics, and electrical blueprints with accuracy.
* Plan and carry out installations in compliance with codes and specifications.
* Capacity to read and comprehend electrical diagrams and drawings.
Arrange Vans and Work:
* Preserve a productive and orderly workplace.
* Make sure work vans are stocked/maintained and prepared for regular use.
* Material management is the process of ordering and monitoring project-related goods.
* Work with suppliers to guarantee on-time delivery + accurate stock
Planning a Job:
* Help with task scheduling and planning in order to fulfill project deadlines.
* Set daily tasks in order of importance to increase efficiency and productivity.
Team Leadership:
* Guide apprentices and junior electricians while encouraging a collaborative and learning environment.
* Assist team members with less experience by offering advice and mentoring.
Support for Project Management:
* Manage and monitor project progress in close collaboration GC
* Make that every assignment is in line with the project's objectives and deadlines
Electrical expertise:
* Accurately identify and resolve problems with electrical systems.
* Manage repairs and installations, especially in settings involving wood/steel construction.
* Underground cables & conduits experience
Safety and Compliance:
* Comply with electrical codes and follow all safety procedures.
* Encourage a secure workplace for every team member.
Driving and Tools:
* Provide and maintain a minimal set of personal tools necessary for the position.
* Drive business vehicles safely while holding a valid driver's license.
* Clean driving Abstract Required
Requirements:
* Excellent knowledge of electrical systems in wood-frame/ steel stud buildings; Capacity to read and comprehend technical diagrams and drawings.
* Outstanding time-management and organizing abilities.
* Capabilities for leadership and experience coaching younger team members.
* A strong work ethic and the capacity to fulfill deadlines.
