Truck Driver - Class 1

*Job Overview*
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the condition of the vehicle and cargo. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong driving skills and knowledge of heavy equipment operation.

*Responsibilities*

* Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations
* Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
* Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
* Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries
* Assist with warehouse duties related to freight handling when required

*Qualifications*

* Valid commercial driver?s license (CDL) with clean driving record
* Experience operating commercial trucks and heavy equipment, including forklifts
* Knowledge of freight handling and transportation regulations
* Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
* Basic automotive repair skills are a plus
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and adhere to schedules
* Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
