Netsuite Developer
*The Continuing Legal Education Society of BC (?CLEBC?)* is the BC legal profession?s preferred source for education and publications. CLEBC is a not-for-profit society that derives all of its income from the sale of courses and books. With more than 80 live and online courses each year, and an online and print library of more than 50 books, we support BC?s 15,000 lawyers in all aspects of their practice.
We are in the final stages of implementing NetSuite across our Finance and CRM functions and are looking for an experienced *NetSuite Developer* to help us complete the remaining configuration, customization, and integration work required for a successful go-live.
The NetSuite Developer reports to the Director of IT. This is a contract position of up to 12 months, starting November 1, 2026. The role is primarily remote; however, occasional attendance at our office will be required, so the successful candidate must maintain their home office in British Columbia.
The Netsuite Developer reports to the Director of IT.
* Configure and customize NetSuite Finance and CRM modules to support business requirements and go-live readiness
* Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between NetSuite, Shopify, and other connected systems
* Review existing processes and implement improvements to enhance system usability, efficiency, and data quality
* Support the final stages of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect triage, resolution coordination, and validation
* Work closely with our external systems integrator team?including the configurator, project manager, and solutions architect?to accelerate progress and resolve outstanding issues
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate system changes, and support operational readiness
* Create and maintain clear documentation, including configuration details, technical specifications, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and transition materials
* Partner directly with the Director of IT as a key member of the internal IT team
* Provide hands-on technical support through cutover, stabilization, and post-go-live activities
Who We?re Looking For
* Strong experience developing and configuring NetSuite, ideally across both Finance and CRM modules
* Hands-on experience with NetSuite integrations, including Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
* Proficiency with SuiteScript, workflows, saved searches, custom fields, and other NetSuite customization tools
* Experience supporting UAT cycles, troubleshooting and resolving defects, and working collaboratively with external systems integrators
* Knowledge of financial processes such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR), revenue, and financial reporting is an asset
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
* Proactive, organized, and able to take ownership of deliverables and drive them through to completion
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and competing demands
