Game OVR is looking for an *Assistant Manager* to help lead our team and keep one of Canada's largest dedicated VR entertainment facilities running at its best.
This isn't a desk job. You'll be hands-on, working alongside our team, interacting with guests, solving problems, coaching staff, and making sure every group that walks through our doors has an amazing experience.

Game OVR is a family-owned entertainment venue and *Canada's largest dedicated VR facility*, with 33 headsets capable of operating simultaneously.
We're a place where families, kids, schools, birthday parties, corporate groups, and friends come together to have fun.

What You'll Do
As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with owners and management to help lead day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and supporting our team during daily operations
* Opening and closing the facility
* Helping train and onboard new employees
* Coaching team members and providing ongoing feedback
* Ensuring guests receive friendly, professional, and exceptional service
* Handling guest concerns and unexpected situations calmly and professionally
* Maintaining high standards for cleanliness, organization, and equipment
* Using our booking, communication, and operational systems
* Completing administrative and operational tasks
* Helping identify ways we can improve our operations and guest experience
* Making decisions independently when the situation requires it
* Representing Game OVR and our values both inside and outside the facility
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is *a natural leader and genuinely enjoys working with people.*
You don't necessarily need to have worked in VR before. We can teach you our technology and systems.
What matters most is that you:
* Have previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience
* Have strong customer service skills
* Communicate clearly and confidently
* Are comfortable giving direction and holding people accountable
* Can stay calm and organized when things get busy
* Are comfortable with computers and learning new technology
* Take initiative and don't need to be told what to do every step of the way
* Are reliable, responsible, and able to make good decisions
* Are comfortable working with children, families, and groups
* Enjoy a workplace where things can change quickly
* Are willing to jump in and help wherever needed
*Experience in entertainment, recreation, hospitality, retail, restaurants, events, or working with children is an asset.*
