What You?ll Do

As part of the VCG team, you?ll work directly with partners and support clients across accounting, tax, payroll, and financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:

· Managing the full accounting cycle

· Preparing and analyzing financial statements and year-end compilation engagements

· Reconciling bank statements and account balances

· Preparing and recording journal entries

· Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

· Preparing personal, corporate, estate, and trust tax returns, including T1, T2, and T3 filings

· Preparing sales tax filings, including GST/HST and QST

· Processing payroll

· Communicating with government agencies and clients

· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

What You Bring

· A bachelor?s degree in accounting or finance; a professional designation is an asset

· At least three years of experience in full-cycle accounting in a firm

· Knowledge of Quebec tax laws and regulations

· Experience with QuickBooks, Wagepoint, CaseWare and CaseView

· Knowledge of tax software such as iFirm is an asset

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
